Whether you prefer QR (Quick Response) or Microsoft Tags, both 2D codes will work with Jumpscan. The steps are slightly different.
1. First start by registering on Jumpscan.com so you have a place to display all your contact information, Twitter feed, Facebook updates, Flickr photos, etc. Once you register you will automatically be assigned a unique QR code that goes to your Jumpscan account (e.g. Jumpscan.com/phil)
2. If you would also like to use, or prefer to use, Microsoft Tags, then register for an account there as well. Once you have your Microsoft Tag account, you can log into their system, insert your Jumpscan url, and you have the best of both worlds! You can then display either your Jumpscan QR code or your Microsoft Tag to direct anyone to your contact information on Jumpscan.
So let’s just end this Coke vs. Pepsi, Team Jacob vs. Team Edward, QR vs Tag nonsense. With Jumpscan, let’s just all be friends!
